Denver Province Receives Preservation Award

March 20, 2023Fr. Steve Rehrauer (right) accepted the Keeper of the Gate Award from the American Rock Art Research Association (ARARA) on March 12.
Alan Dart (center), Executive Director of the Old Pueblo Archaeology Center in Tucson, received an Education Award for his efforts to educate the public to understand and appreciate archaeology and other cultures, to foster the preservation of archaeological and historical sites, and to develop a lifelong concern for nonrenewable resources and traditional cultures. A friend of the Redemptorist, Renewal Center (RRC), Alan teaches sabbatical classes and leads tours on the petroglyph site.
Peter Tran, associate director of RRC, (left) also participated in the ARARA Awards Ceremony. The Redemptorist Renewal Center is located on 120 acres of land Tucson, Arizona.
