Theology Students Installed as Acolytes

March 11, 2024On Saturday, February 24, 2024, Noel, Steven, Andrew and Scott from the North American Redemptorist Theology Residence in San Antonio were installed into the Ministry of Acolyte.
This took place at St. Gerard Parish in San Antonio. Ministry of Acolyte and Ministry of Lector (celebrated prior to Ministry of Acolyte) are both stages of priestly formation. An acolyte assists at the altar during Mass. A lector proclaims the readings prior to the gospel.
